We are mainly a gull rehabilitation centre, meaning we admit birds after they have been rescued and seen by a vet or experienced wildlife rescuer. This is because we are a small charity that cannot afford veterinary services for every animal. Our visiting vets maintain the care needed but are not here 24/7.
WE DO NOT RESCUE as those services are covered by other charitable organisations. e.g RSPCA and local wildlife rescues. We are not open to the public to bring birds to us unless prior agreement is sought. Contact us here.
If you believe a bird needs to be rescued please use the Help Wildlife search facility
If you cannot get a rescue service to deal with the bird or wild animal please take to a local vet (call first) so they can treat or care for them until the service they use can respond.
